ISKCON Vrindavan celebrates Mudiya Purnima festival in a grand way from 17th July, 2024 – 22 July, 2024 at Govardhan. More than two crores of people will offer parikrama to Giri Govardhan. The festival includes prasadam distribution on huge scale, Harinam kirtan, book distribution and many devotional activities.
After being ordered by Lord Chaitanya, Sanatana Goswami came to Braj and started Nama bhajan at chakleswar in Mansiganga. Although in his old age, every day he did parikrama of Giriraj ji. After Sanatana Goswami left this material world, his disciples and all Braj wasis followed his path and did Govardhan parikrama on that day.
