Under the Food for Life initiative, we aim to serve millions of needy people with nutritious meals daily. One of the world's largest vegetarian meal providing programs, we try to provide help wherever it's needed, such as worldwide emergencies, nursing homes, prison houses, and orphanages. Support us in continuation of this movement.
Education administrators have stated that the ISKCON Food for Life program, actually facilitates many poor children to attend school. Otherwise, they explain, without the program the children would be forced to work as child laborers to earn enough to eat for the day.
"(ISKCON) movement, Just imagine…within a short span of time…today I am told ISKCON movement runs more than 600 centers all over the world, everyday in India it provides food to over one million children…healthy food…and the message…of love, compassion, which is inherent in Indian civilization."
— Pranab Mukherjee, President of India
Food for Life volunteers respond to natural disasters, wars, and emergencies worldwide. We serve in nursing homes, orphanages, prison houses, and disaster zones, bringing hope and nourishment to those who need it most.
All meals distributed through Food for Life are first offered to Lord Krishna as prasadam (sanctified food). This ensures that recipients receive not just physical nourishment, but spiritual benefit as well, making each meal a source of divine mercy and blessings.
Food for Life transforms lives by addressing hunger while spreading Krishna consciousness and compassion across the globe!
